Cairns Regional Council (CRC) is leading the charge in updating its local communities on Covid-19, while keeping up its day-to-day operations.
With the creation of its Cairns Local Coronavirus Hotline and help service, CRC is doing everything it can to restrict the spread of the pandemic virus, support lead agencies and ensure community members receive advice relevant to them.
CRC has an incident management team based at the local disaster coordination centre taking calls and problem-solving seven days a week, providing holistic support through its Economic Response and Recovery and Human and Social sub committees.
