Get Ready Queensland provides $2 million in Queensland Government funding to help local governments improve their communities’ resilience and aligns with QRA’s mission to make Queensland the most disaster resilient state in Australia.
Funding packages will be emailed out to all Councils in the first two weeks of July 2025
Councils can request a roll over of unspent GRQ funding or an extension to lodge acquittal documentation if required. All requests must be submitted in writing and approved by the Get Ready Queensland Team.
Submissions for the Get Ready Queensland program grants for 2024-25 have ended. Please submit acquittals by 30th September 2025.
