Tune into warnings and visit your local council disaster dashboard for up to date information.
Locate your severe weather plan, emergency kit and evacuation kit in case you need to evacuate. If you need to evacuate and have difficulty moving quickly, go early.
If you can, put fuel in your vehicle and park it in a sheltered and/or elevated location in case you need to evacuate
Check in with family, friends and neighbours.
