Severe weather impacts the lives of all Queenslanders, affecting how we live, work, move and connect in our community. Get Ready Queensland Week is an important opportunity for our whole state to help Queenslanders take steps to prepare their family, property and community for disaster events. 

Did you know that while 59% of Queenslanders say they have a plan, only 19% have it written down?

That’s why this year we are encouraging ALL Queenslanders to make their plan, using our super simple online household severe weather plan.

The Get Ready Queensland Severe Weather Household Emergency Plan is here to help Queenslanders prepare for extreme weather. 

The online form makes it simple to plan for an emergency, by knowing what to do and who to contact. It only takes a few minutes and will provide Queenslanders with peace of mind. 

Once the online plan has been completed, residents can download a PDF of their plan, including checklists and useful resources and tips, that they can utilise for their disaster planning, which can be saved, printed and shared with family or friends.
