We are pleased to inform you the Get Ready Queensland brand refresh to modernise the look and feel of the program is now finished and new products are available for your marketing and communication activities.

I have previously advised we have slightly updated the Get Ready Queensland logo and you will see in the collateral and key messages that we have continued with the “What’s your what-if plan” messaging.

One of the key elements of this brand refresh has been the creation of an extensive image library covering a range of both dramatic disaster images as well as some photos that focus on the theme of resilience, community spirit and the positive outcomes of planning and preparedness.

We have almost 50 images in this library currently and will continue to add suitable, quality photographs as we move forward. We would love for councils to also provide any images they think would be suitable for our library. Councils are welcome to use these images for any Get Ready Queensland related material.

With an increased emphasis on social media, we have produced four short social media videos that you can also use on your channels as well as updated social media tiles and cover images.

Other updated resources include a range of A3 posters, pull up banners, DL fridge magnets, word documents, powerpoint templates and email banners as well as refreshed Get Ready Queensland branded items available from the portal.

The Get Ready Queensland 2019-20 Branding Guidelines and Key Messages for Councils document provides all the information you need to know about the brand refresh and is now available on the Get Ready Queensland Council Hub.

Please note, the only element not updated yet are the Get Ready Queensland fact sheets which are being updated as part of the Get Ready Queensland website redevelopment currently underway and we will advise when these are finalised.

As previously mentioned, we acknowledge that many councils, like the Get Ready Queensland program, will have a range of Get Ready Queensland branded items that still need to be distributed and there are absolutely no issues with using those materials until all stock levels have been used.

We acknowledge it will take time to transition over to using new Get Ready Queensland branded materials.

Should you have any further questions about the brand refresh, please email the Get Ready team and we will be happy to assist.

Thanks!

The Get Ready Queensland team.
